  "The top wine of the trio [produced by Font du Loup], the 2006 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Puy Rolland is a dead-ringer for a Volnay premier cru from Burgundy.  Sweet black cherry, damp earth, floral, raspberry, roasted herb, and spice characteristics ermerge from this beauty.  The color is more saturated than in the other two cuvees, yet the wine retains abundant elegance, fruit, depth, and texture.  It should drink well for 10-12 years."
