• Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2009:  Rated 2 stars.  A fourth generation family owned estate, Clos Saint-Joseph is situated in the mountains northwest of Nice.  It is the only domaine in the Alpes-Maritimes that has been designated as part of the Cotes-de-Provence appellation.  This wine has a golden yellow robe that reveals a complex nose of candied fruit and honey with slight hints of oak.  It is concentrated and made with a beautiful roundness and agreeable vivacity that is enhanced by the taste of exotic fruit flavors.  A well-balanced wine, it pairs uniquely well with the cuisine of Nice.
