Blue Coast

 

• Blue Coast is an importer and distributor of fine wines.  Our initial focus was the French Côtes d’Azur or “Blue Coast” and surrounding areas of Provence, the Var and the Maritime Alpes. While Provence wines continue to be a specialty, we have added to our portfolio outstanding selections from many other parts of France as well as from California and Italy.

• We source our own wines and do our own distribution in New York and New Jersey.  We seek out elite vintners whose wines are often produced in limited quantities and are not readily available everywhere.  In some cases, we are able to obtain and offer both new and older vintages.  Some of the producers with whom we work, such as Domaine Hauvette and Champagne de Sousa, are certified organic and / or practicing biodynamic, and others, such as Domaine de l'Espigouette, are practicing organic and the in process of obtaining formal certification.  We consciously seek out wines that have a unique quality based on their place of origin rather than wines that are one dimensional and taste like every other wine of the moment.

• As a boutique importer and distributor, we provide personalized, reliable and prompt customer service.  We can generally fill orders within one business day.

• We store our wines in a climate controlled facility in New Jersey.  We do not sell directly to the public, but can provide information regarding where our wines may be available for purchase.
